Corner tray

In the clinic

Step 1
Choose the size for the patient and fit the tray securely into the corner of the cage or enclosure, with the two open sides against the walls.
Step 2
Add a thin layer of the dust-free natural fibre specified by the clinical team. Keep access clear for sensitive, post-surgical and avian patients.
Step 3
Assign the tray to one patient. Replace it when soiled and between patients, then dispose of it through the facility’s compliant waste route. Nothing returns to the wash area.

Clinical note

Check that the corner position does not restrict movement, recovery equipment, observation or access to food and water.

Scoop&Go scoops

In the clinic

Step 1
Take a clean Scoop&Go scoop from dry storage and assign it to the patient or care task.
Step 2
Remove solid waste from the tray and transfer it directly into the designated waste bag or container without touching shared surfaces.
Step 3
Treat the scoop as single-use. Dispose of it with the contaminated waste through the facility’s compliant route — nothing to clean or store after use.

Pre-filled litter tray

In the clinic

Step 1
Remove the pre-filled tray from its protective packaging and place it on a stable surface in the ward, transport unit, emergency area or mobile-care setting.
Step 2
Assign it to one patient. The measured litter quantity is ready for immediate use, with no preparation or transfer from shared litter storage.
Step 3
After use, contain the tray and contents and dispose of them through the waste route required by your facility and local regulations.

Clinical note

Position the tray where staff can observe use without obstructing patient access or other care equipment.

What to tell your client

Sending it home

Step 1
Tell the client to place the tray in a quiet, level and accessible location as soon as the animal arrives home.
Step 2
The tray is already filled. Ask them not to add cleaning chemicals or scented products, and to follow the discharge plan for monitoring output.
Step 3
When finished, they should bag the tray and contents and follow local household-waste guidance. They should call the clinic for straining, pain, blood, no urine or stool, or any concern named in the discharge instructions.

Step 1
Confirm the kit contents before discharge: tray, 3l natural litter, two bowls, three scoops and seven waste bags. The carton can be used as the outer tray.
Step 2
Use the kit to demonstrate the patient’s first-days-home setup. Explain any feeding, litter or output-monitoring instructions specific to the case.
Step 3
Give the sealed or repacked kit to the client with the written discharge plan and the clinic’s contact details.

What to tell your client

Sending it home

Step 1
Show the client how the carton becomes the outer tray, then place the inner tray inside and add the supplied natural litter.
Step 2
Ask them to keep the setup in a quiet, accessible place, use the bowls as directed, and remove waste with a fresh scoop and bag.
Step 3
Used parts should be bagged and discarded according to local household-waste guidance. The client should call the clinic if the animal will not eat, drink or use the tray, or shows any signs listed in the discharge plan.
